Our focus is to maximize a manufacturer’s brand awareness and to accelerate sales in their relationship with Amazon.com and subsidiaries. We help our clients efficiently navigate the self-service environment of Amazon’s Vendor Central, Seller Central, Brand Registry and Amazon Advertising.
Kevin Bell, Principal
Kevin has over 20 years experience in sales, business development and management roles. Prior to establishing KMB Consulting, his most recent experience was 7 years at Amazon.com in a variety of business development and vendor management roles. His first role was working with large 3rd party sellers to enable them to optimize their business within the Amazon ecosystem, including Fulfillment by Amazon.
Within the Amazon retail organization, his experience includes leading business development for the drop ship program. Kevin worked with multiple retail teams to manage relationships with Amazon vendors. His focus was to qualify and negotiate vendor agreements to ensure a successful onboarding and vendor launch.
Kevin's belief is that Amazon should be a significant sales channel for manufacturers. Whilst it is not without challenges an investment in working with Amazon can pay significant dividends. We work hard to ensure your brand is well represented in the world's largest online marketplace.
Malia Johnson, Senior Manager
Malia spent 6 years at Amazon, initially on the Seller Services team, where she recruited and developed companies interested in Amazon's e-commerce solutions. She was recruited to the Apparel category team as a Vendor Manager and Category Lead on promotional planning operations. She also spent time with specific focus on improving the Vendor Onboarding experience.
During her time at Amazon, she focused on strategic planning and communication, which allowed her vendors to successfully navigate the inner workings of the world’s largest online retailer. She worked with hundreds of vendors to identify unique business opportunities and maximize exposure using strategic marketing.
Malia feels strongly about protecting clients’ brand integrity and creating a clean shopping experience for customers. Essential to this is clear, concise product information, cleaning up third-party contributions, and building an integrated branded experience across Amazon.
Dominic D'Angelo, Senior Manager
Dominic comes to KMB Consulting with nearly 30 years of strategic planning, buying, marketing and operational experience within retail organizations. Dominic most recently spent 9 years at Amazon with both the Toys and Music teams, holding Management, Control Buying and Vendor Management roles.
In his tenure at Amazon, Dominic built strong relationships with both vendor and licensor partners, working collaboratively on strategic initiatives to optimize sales and operational efficiencies. Dominic believes the key to a successful Amazon business is to be diligent about getting through the clutter and control your own destiny. To optimize your Amazon business to its greatest potential, you must provide Amazon with full selection, create engaging informative detail page content, generate highly rated reviews on your products, and learn the right marketing levers to invest in for your brand.
Amy Tweedale, Senior Manager
Amy has over 15 years experience in retail sales, management, buying, inventory control and logistics. Most recently, Amy was employed at Amazon for 7 years helping to launch Amazon Fashion. Amy joined Amazon as a contractor and promoted to Buying Manager/Manager, Vendor Management during her tenure. During this time, Amy developed and maintained strong relationships in the fashion industry including helping brands to understand ecommerce on the Amazon platform.
Amy believes the key to having a successful business on Amazon is understanding your customer, focusing on the user experience and maintaining clean data quality. She has a proven track record for helping and training brands to migrate to new systems, procedures while maintaining growth and profitability expectations. Daily churn and change can be overwhelming, but Amy has can help to navigate change.
